Today’s piece is a mixture of technology and a dose of inspiration. It is that sort of piece that you will want to write about after one ‘correct’ decision sets you on a path of life-long positive impact.
Besides the fact that I am in the field of technology, I have a great passion for entrepreneurship and peak performance. Why, for instance, would someone launch a technology business and after two years of operations, close shop and then someone else comes around and in less than one year becomes a run-away success? I am interested in the growth of Small and Medium-Scale Enterprises because I believe that research has proved that they are veritable vehicles to grow the Nigerian economy, especially when they fully leverage the right ICT strategies.
Many times, when core techies run their businesses, they seem to see things from only the tech- perspective, neglecting important marketing decisions and strategies which are what often leads to business failure.
