Financial technology is a key to driving financial inclusion, empowering groups that have been left behind by traditional financial systems. From helping rural farmers access to finance to point of sale technologies for underbanked merchants, entrepreneurship is impacting lives around the world.
In light of this, the Luxembourg House of Financial Technology (LHoFT) launches the third edition of Catapult Inclusion Africa, a series of Fintech for Financial Inclusion development programs. Applications are now open.
About the program
Developed by the LHoFT Foundation, in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs’ Directorate for Development Cooperation and Humanitarian Affairs, the Catapult Inclusion Africa targets companies focusing on financial inclusion in Africa.
It aims to build bridges between Africa and Europe, highlighting their initiatives and very much aligned with the sustainability goals of Luxembourg’s finance center. Luxembourg is the European destination for fintech to thrive. Hence, the 8-day Bootcamp is designed to help fintech startups push their ventures to new heights.

Catapult Inclusion Africa will leverage Luxembourg’s Inclusive Finance and Fintech ecosystem to support 15 selected startups to develop their businesses, connect, and secure funding.
Benefits
Fifteen outstanding inclusive fintech startups will benefit the following:
- Venture development skills;
- Investment readiness training;
- Access to mentors and investment with knowledge of doing business in Africa.
Deadline
