AWIEF Announces Pitch n Grow 2026

Bombarded by various tasks every day, the next to common phrases that come out of an around-the-clock busy entrepreneur is not far-fetched. “Over-stressed, highly exhausted, workload”. With these phrases, you have the idea that such an entrepreneur is putting effort to scale a new business.

With so much pressure on the entrepreneur, he does not want to fall in the category of those that fail in business in a few months from when it started operations, therefore, all the strength and time gets thrown into the business by becoming the self-styled busy entrepreneur that must own successful business.

Does a businessman have to be a busy entrepreneur before he attains so much success in the newly found venture? Busy, we might say, but busy with what is the question? Some entrepreneurs fall into the trap of getting busy to create the impression of productivity.

Activity is not productivity, so, as a business owner, there are ways to make your engagement easier. You can navigate around the busyness in your entrepreneurial life and at the same time be productive. You do not have to be too busy to be productive.

In this article, you will get to know some hacks to implement in your time, if you are such a busy entrepreneur;

Start Small

It is normal for every venture to have stated aims and objectives which tends to a driving force towards your business goal, but sometimes an illusion of trying to accomplish your goals in a twinkle of an eye can be an impossible task.

Rome wasn’t built in a day, the same way many successful businesses are not born overnight, so you don’t need to get drawn back by a bit of progress, you lay your focus on your easily achievable aims to get your objectives.

A focus on these small accomplishments will give you a sense of ownership  and self-worth over your business

Pen your Ideas

With so much creativity and innovation in the air, ideas would have dropped into your head, but the busy entrepreneur in you would let those ideas fly without writing them down. your daily focus on your entrepreneurial duties has taken off the moment for you to get down and put your ideas in black and white.

Due to your multitasking nature, you might think you will remember when your daily task is over but that might not be the case, it is better you put them down immediately on your notebook or journal. Not remembering such ideas can be frustrating.

There are even apps on smartphones that can assist you with the tasks.

Apply The Two-Minute Rule

David Allen, a time management consultant created a  two-minute rule concept which states  : “If you determine an action can be done in two minutes, you actually should do it right then because it’ll take longer to organize it and review it than it would be to actually finish it the first time you notice it.”

In the daily life of a busy entrepreneur, there are tasks that can be achieved within no time such as in two or less minute, tasks like this do not require much of your day, so why postpone till later? why not do it now.

Small drops make a mighty ocean, the same way small tasks unattended to can pile up and become an extra burden, whatever the small task is, get it done now.

Adopting habits for productivity is a way forward for a successful business venture, applying these hacks can make you effective, relieve you of stress, and less of a busy entrepreneur without focus.
