Whether your company is just starting out or well on its way to digital transformation, the Google Cloud web3 program can help you overcome your most difficult challenges.

Google provides two program tiers, Start and Scale, that provide resources, support, and discounts to eligible startups as they build and grow their businesses on Google Cloud.

The eligibility requirements listed below are used to review and approve program applications.

Tier one

  • An institutional investor has not yet funded a technology startup.
  • Founded within the last five years
  • Is yet to receive Cloud credits (beyond the free trial period).
Scale level
  • Obtained verifiable startup equity funding ranging from pre-seed to Series A (if Series A, within the last 12 months) or from common Web3 funding sources
  • Founded within the last ten years
  • Google Cloud credits worth more than $4,000 have yet to be received.
Benefits of particpation 
Tier one
  • Credits: Worth up to $2,000 USD, valid for two years1
  • Training: For online courses and hands-on labs, you can earn $200 in Cloud Skills Boost credits.
  • Technical assistance: Support on a larger scale and technical enablement
  • Business assistance and networking
  • You will have access to our global Google Cloud Startup Community.
  • Google-wide sales
  • New signups will receive 12 months of free Google Workspace Business Plus.2
  • Google Maps Platform3 provides free monthly usage of $200.
Scale level

The use of Google Cloud and Firebase is covered in:

  • Year 1: Credits worth up to $100,000 USD.
  • Year 2: 20% additional  credits up to $100,000 USD.
  • Training: $500 Credits for Google Cloud Skills Boost for online courses and hands-on labs
  • Technical assistance: For one year, $12,000 USD in Google Cloud Enhanced Support credits
    Direct access to Google Cloud engineers
  • Business assistance and networking: For selected startups, access to a Startup Success Manager, our global Google Cloud Startup Community, and co-marketing opportunities are available.
For web3 Projects
  • Google-wide sales: New signups will receive 12 months of free Google Workspace Business Plus.2 $600 monthly credits on the Google Maps Platform for new signups for 12 months.
  • As part of the Google for Startups Cloud Program, Google has expanded support for Web3 projects and startups to provide you with the technology, community, and resources you need to build faster and easier. With Google Cloud, you can create decentralized apps, Web3 tooling, services, and more.
  • Join the Google Web3 community to receive Web3 training and resources.
  • Google Cloud credits worth up to $200,000 USD total over two years (the same as the standard program)
  • Access to the Google Cloud Web3 Discord channel is restricted to invitees only.
  • Contribution to our Web3 product roadmap, as well as early access to those products
  • Web3 advanced hands-on learning labs are available for free.
  • VIP access to events at international Web3 conferences
  • Access to ecosystem partners’ advantages: Aptos, Base, Celo, Flow, Hedera, Nansen, Near, Polygon, Solana, and Thirdweb are some of the names.
For AI startups
  • As part of the Google for Startups Cloud Program, Google has broadened its assistance for companies that use AI as their core technology to develop their primary products or solutions. Join forces with us to get the technology, community, and resources you need to innovate with AI quickly.
  • Get better financial benefits, AI training, and resources.
  • Total  credits of up to $350,000 USD over two years (standard program credits plus an additional $150,000 USD in Year 1 for the AI startup program).
  • ISV/SaaS startups have exclusive access to Google Cloud AI.
  • AI-focused advanced hands-on learning labs are available for free.
  • AI technical advice, workshops, and best practices
  • Live webinars and Q&As with the Google Cloud AI product team
  • A look at Google Cloud’s most recent AI advancements and product roadmap.
