According to a leak that gained momentum over the weekend, it has been revealed by Target employees in Apple that the tech giant is set to release another brand of its TV set as well as other branded Apple products.
Some of the other products that might be released include a new set of Apple-branded over-ear headphones, etc.
In the listings in their store inventory systems, the TV is simply recorded down as “Apple TV Gen X” and the price attached to it is $180 (which is also the same price as the current 32GB Apple TV 4K).
This leaked report further confirmed an earlier report that the latest beta of tvOS 13.4 contains references to a new model of Apple TV.
It also further alludes to “T1125,” an aspect of Apple-internal archetype designation for an Apple TV with a faster CPU. This helps to improve gaming experiences which Apple is hoping to generate Arcade subscription service fee.
The speculated Apple TV GEN X will be a major upgrade from the previous one as it might come with a dedicated gaming controller.
Helping Apple Arcade developers to build more immersive experiences, which would give Apple a better platform and have competitive advantages over Google and Nvidia.
Over the years, Apple has done some major work which includes financing Netflix competitor, Apple TV+, Apple Arcade, Apple News, and Apple Music, etc., and the, for this reason, we actually believe that the leaked news about the new TV is real.
Another factor that gives credence to this leaked news is that Apple will soon put its Apple TV app, HomeKit, and AirPlay 2 on competitive platforms like Roku, Amazon Fire TV, LG and Samsung smart TVs, and others so instead of putting it up there, why not create yours?
Due to Apple track record of always creating beautifully designed and expensive devices, the Apple TV T1125 might see the light of the day and dwarf it, predecessor, the Apple TV 4K.
