The AgriTech4Tunisia Innovation Challenge invites entrepreneurs, startups, research teams and scientists from across the world to present technology-based solutions that address pressing agricultural issues in Tunisia such as water scarcity, low productivity, climate risks and market access.
The initiative is backed by the CGIAR Accelerate for Impact Platform and partner organisations that combine research, market insight and implementation support.
Thematic Areas
Your project should address one or more of these priority themes:
- Sustainable water management and smart irrigation.
- Precision agriculture and optimisation of inputs.
- Tools and services tailored to climate resilience.
- Post-harvest handling and better market access.
- Financial tools for agriculture.
- Strengthening value chains and circular economy solutions.
- Digital extension services and capacity building.
Criteria for Participation
Early-stage agri-tech teams with a Minimum Viable Product (MVP), ideally tested with users, and fundraising at pre-seed or seed stage.
Eligibility for Participation
- Your venture must be a legally registered entity or linked to a research centre or university.
- Teams should have a working MVP that addresses a real agricultural need for farmers and value-chain actors.
- Applicants must be able to travel to Tunisia for the bootcamp and commit to programme activities.
- The project should outline a viable roadmap for product growth and positive environmental and social outcomes.

Participants selected for the AgriTech4Tunisia programme will benefit from a structured support package including:
- A fully funded, four-day immersive bootcamp in Tunisia where founders gain insights into local conditions, product feedback and strategy refinement.
- A sponsored three-month acceleration track combining business training, technical assistance, pitch preparation and market engagement.
