Applications are now open for the eleventh edition of the Tony Elumelu Foundation Entrepreneurship Programme. The program offers startup training, mentorship and US$5,000 in funding.

The programme is run by the Tony Elumelu Foundation (TEF) has committed a US$100 million fund to mentor, train and fund thousands of African entrepreneurs.

For this eleventh edition, successful applicants will also gain access to the TEF network of startups.

Since its launch, the programme has empowered more than 15,000 African entrepreneurs, connecting them with high-profile private and public sector individuals, investors and advocates to boost their business profiles and scale their opportunities.

The Tony Elumelu Foundation (TEF), Africa’s leading philanthropy program dedicated to empowering young African entrepreneurs has announced applications on its TEFConnect digital platform.

The Tony Elumelu Entrepreneurship Programme is open to entrepreneurs across the African continent with business ideas or early-stage companies not more than 5 years old. Applicant must be 18 years old and above.

Successful applicants would receive the following:

  • Non-refundable seed capital up to $5,000
  • Global Networking Opportunities
  • Mentorship
