As part of a dynamic step towards advancing digital creative industry in Germany, German firm, Initiative Musik, organized its 9th electronic start-up tour designed to give first-hand experience with the thriving tech and innovation scene in Germany.
The electronic start-up tour had 17 international journalists and key players of the start-up scene in attendance at Gamescom in Cologne (Berlin) a customized program for digital creative and games industry as a dynamic part of the market on innovation in Germany
“We were able to put together an inspiring and informative programme by working with numerous partners from different ministries and with representatives from leading industry companies, conferences and research institutions including Gamescom, bitkom, republica, Tech Open Air Berlin, the Fraunhofer Institute, the Hasso Plattner Institute and the Maker Faire from Heise Media,Ina Keßler, Managing Director Initiative Musik explained
Furthermore, we were able to provide these international multipliers an overview of how various parties in Germany deal with the challenges of digitization.”
Making her views known was Shradha Sharma, Founder, and Editor-in-Chief, Yourstory.com, according to her, the visit to the government offices, start-ups, Gamescom was a truly enriching experience.
“It was a very well organized trip, which opened my eyes to the wonderful opportunities in Germany. Berlin, for instance, is a city of creativity and full of positive spirit with an open and collaborative culture.” She said.
“It was a pleasure to meet so many incredible people across academia/research, industry and various levels of government who are not only bright and talented but also very driven, motivated and dedicated to taking Germany’s digital industry to the next step.
