Whatever you know how to do regarding technology just do very well. However, do not fear going out for a contest with other tech entrepreneurs and start-ups. Most of us have the potentials to be ahead of others.

- Has a revenue model been defined and is it realistic?
- What is the value proposition to customers?

- How resource- intensive is the idea? Is this idea scalable?”
The just concluded Aso Villa Day Demo, where Nigerians presented ideas and solutions for technology, agriculture, communications, power, fashion and entertainment, should be an opener for you. Many of the tech guys that applied for that content were judged by the above criteria that I mentioned.
Interestingly, the Aso Villa Day Demo is an initiative of the Presidency, aim at promoting technology innovation in Nigeria.
So there are opportunities for you to break through via tech entrepreneurship. Besides that, private companies are also bringing opportunities on the table for you to explore. Though it’s quite competitive, that doesn’t mean you should shy away from it.
For instance, out of over hundred tech guys who presented their ideas from three different locations across the country? The federal government selected 30, and finally three winners emerged.

One global icon that was present at the Aso Villa Day Demo was the Facebook Founder, Mark Zuckerberg; He was there to grace the occasion. It is important to know that. It was after his return from Kenya.
In his submission, said it is inspiring to see what young Nigerians have done regarding app development and use of technology; explaining that his trip to Nigeria has blown him away regarding the talents he sees across the country. “Nigerian youth will not just shape the country but will shape the whole world,” Zuckerberg said.
When he spoke with Nigerian tech entrepreneurs, he hinted that Nigeria is full of potentials and would never cease to invest if need be.
Making his views known, Vice President, Nigeria, Osinbajo said there are lots of creativity, innovation, drive and entrepreneurial spirit in the country, explaining that there is so much hope in what the young generation could do.
He also hinted that the federal government is exploring ways to cooperate with Facebook in the next few months, and this is believed to strengthen further and encourage tech guys in the industry.
However, Nigerian government is currently in agreement with some leading technology companies to create 10 hubs across the country, two technology hubs in Lagos and Abuja and six regional hubs in the six geopolitical zones. Each hub will be designed to produce relevant, innovative technology, solutions to a wide range of business, commercial and government problems.
He reiterated that Nigeria is not just in talks with major technology companies but also budgeted to train about 65,000 young Nigeria in hardware and software development and more sophisticated software hardware such as animation.
