Ethereum wallets are applications that enable users interact with their Ethereum account. This application works like an internet banking app.

Through your Ethereum wallet, you can perform transactions and check your balance.

Here are some top Ethereum wallets in 2021

Binance  (cold wallet)

It allows depositing with a bank card, however, using an electronic wallet for deposit isn’t backed by the platform. It supports over 200 coins while allowing a withdrawal fee $1-30 or 1% on the card.

This cold wallet supports transactions through peer-to-peer trading, market order, margin trading, limit and stop-limit order.

Founded in 2017, it has become one of the most used Ethereum wallets. Binance offers its users a complete feature of Defi tools and charting options with both less instant and non-instant fees.

Kraken (Web wallet)

Kraken enables traders to get up to 50 times their balance for trade. This platform offers users multiple options of investment including OTC and margin trading.

It supports over 90 cryptocurrencies with low deposit fees as well as the option to get rewards for taking assets. 955% of deposits on Kraken are kept in its offline cold storage.

Ledger Nano X (Hardware wallet)

This Ethereum wallet appears to be one of the safest to purchase, exchange and grow your ETH. The hardware wallet supports over 1200 tokens and coins while allowing you to control your assets using its Bluetooth-enabled Ledger hardware wallet.

The hardware wallet allows you to download close to 100 apps including Bitcoin and XRP while allowing you to also manage your cryptos on mobile devices.

Ledger Nano feature offers users portability, in-built battery and supports most of the major blockchains. However, the backside is that it is expensive compared to other hardware wallets.

Argent (Ethereum-only wallet)

This is an Ethereum-only wallet that enables the purchase of credit cards. The platform is ideal for beginners trying to make investments in cryptocurrencies.

Thie Ethereum wallet is most suitable for newbies and offers users a unique private key for a strong encryption layer.

Argent has an option for a full range of Ethereum offerings, allowing users to buy coins using their credit cards. This platform can only be used by users on the Ethereum network.

Coinbase (Digital/Mobile wallet)

This allows a minimum trade of $2 with transaction and trading fees of 0.5- 4.5%, depending on the type of cryptocurrency and platform you are using.  This Ethereum wallet supports 56 cryptocurrencies, allowing 60 crypto to crypto trading pairs.

For beginners, the platform is user-friendly, however, comparing it to other exchanges, it is quite expensive.

Coinbase offers users different varieties of altcoin with a high liquidity rate.
