Launched in 2018 in Algiers, IncubMe – the first pan-African private incubator in Algeria – held a press conference recently at the International Conference Center, in Algiers.

For more than than two years, the Incubator has been dedicated to supporting young project leaders from all over the country and is now expanding its action by opening its doors to African startups.

In front of an audience of a hundred people, composed of representatives of ministries, ambassadors, business leaders, the Minister of Startups Mr. Yacine Oualid marked with his speech the opening of the conference, followed by a presentation of the program by the founding team of IncubMe.

Following the many partnerships signed in recent months with African incubators, in Senegal, Ivory Coast, Cameroon, South Africa, etc.).

IncubMe will now welcome in Algiers about twenty startups, among the most promising of the continent, and accompany them in a complete and free incubation program of 6 months.

This unique and continental-scale program is intended to be a springboard for the selected startups that will interact with economic actors, partners of IncubMe.

On the occasion of this event, Adel Amalou, co-founder of IncubMe, said “today, through this program of exploration of all the potentialities of the selected startups, we have the ambition to make Algiers the capital of excellence in search, innovation and technology in Africa.”

According to the specified schedule, the official launch took place at the International Conference Center (Abdellatif Rahal) in Algiers on Thursday the 28 of January 2021 to start incubating startups.

About IncubMe

The incubator selects young and innovative projects in order to provide them with:

  • support
  • advice
  • follow-up on plans (technical, material/logistics, administrative, etc.)

IncubMe has been designed according to international standards since it is part of the globalization of ideas and projects.

Thus, incubates are selected on criteria that take into account the interest of opening up to the world, whether for the product, service or entrepreneurial approach they are considering.

Startups and idea carriers supported by IncubMe have access to major economic events (conferences; symposia), a source of inspiration and motivation.

The objective is to generate impetus, interactions and sow in the minds of a global vision of modern entrepreneurship.
