However, I have listed some online courses within the tech industry in which you can advance and develop yourself. You can make a choice out of those 5 online courses and start from there. There are a lot them in the tech industry but starting with any of those online courses would be an added value.

  • Python Programming: One of the universities that offer this course online is the University of Michigan. With Python, you will get exposed to fundamental programming concepts such as databases, and networked application program interfaces using the Python programming language. In the course, you will learn how to design and create your applications for data retrieval, processing, and visualization.
  • HTML, CSS, and JavaScript: These courses are even free on some websites. You don’t need even to have a preknowledge to get started. After learning these skills, you will understand the essential elements of web page development, covering HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

You don’t need to travel; it’s on online course. The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology offers this course.

  • Algorithms: This course encompasses lots of practical applications, intellectual depth, and most people see it as the heart of computer science. It is quite imperative that you must have had a bit of programming experience.

People that understand Algorithm very well are always positioned to get a mouth watering jobs. They speak about algorithms with computer scientists and programmers. Stanford University offers a course in Algorithms online.

  • Introduction to Programming with MATLAB: Having a solid background in MATLAB is an indispensable skill in today’s job market. Vanderbilt University offers this course.

This course teaches computer programming to those with little to no previous experience, using programming system and language called MATLAB.

MATLAB is a special-purpose language that is an excellent choice for writing moderate-sized programs that solve problems involving the manipulation of numbers.

  • Data Structures: The course is being offered by San Diego, Higher School of Economics. In the course, you will be taught how these data structures are being implemented in different programming languages. You will also practice via programming assignments. However, the course considers various data structures and how to manipulate them.

This helps you to understand what is going on inside a particular built-in implementation of a data structure and what to expect from it.
