ToumAI, a Morocco-based AI technology company, has raised EUR1 million (US$1 million) in pre-seed funding to expand its reach and enhance its AI-powered customer experience (CX) solutions worldwide.
The company focuses on refining multilingual, cultural, and generational interactions, addressing the complexity of emotions in customer engagement.
Its HolistiCX suite relies on a Compound AI architecture, balancing efficiency and performance with minimal computational demands.
By integrating large open-source models with proprietary ones, ToumAI strengthens voice-driven applications, optimizes IVR systems, and enhances churn detection.
Its scalable APIs allow businesses to integrate data across departments, delivering insights that support meaningful customer interactions.
In 2024, ToumAI expanded into Morocco, Senegal, and Malta, with plans to launch in Tunisia. The recent funding round, led by Launch Africa Ventures, with backing from Madica Ventures, Orange Ventures, Digital Africa, GO Ventures, and business angel Bruno Akpaka, along with support from BPI France, will support further growth.
CEO Odin Demassieux emphasized that this investment marks an important step in scaling the company’s technology and bringing HolistiCX to a broader audience.
