Today signifies a pivotal moment in Nigeria’s technological progress and policy innovation, as we celebrate the appointment of Ms. Tola Odeyemi as the new Postmaster General and CEO of the Nigerian Postal Service (NIPOST).

This commendable decision by the Administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu ushers in a new dawn for NIPOST and indicates a future-forward governance approach.

Ms. Odeyemi’s outstanding career is a reflection of a solid firm in Nigeria’s Tech Policy and Government Regulation, in addition to notable roles in global giants like Binance and Uber as she has proven herself to be a leading voice in the intersection of policy and technology.

Her journey through vital positions, including being the Facility Manager/External Projects Manager at 21st Century Technologies and Team Lead for the Industry Infrastructure and Technology Project (South West Implementation) at the Central Bank of Nigeria, is a testament to her innovative leadership and in-depth knowledge of technology and policy.

Aside from her mega professional experiences, Ms. Odeyemi has shown outstanding public service, having served in Lagos state under the administration of H.E. Akinwunmi Ambode as the Executive Secretary/Senior Special Assistant, where her contributions to strategic implementation and policy-making left a great impact.

Ms. Odeyemi’s 15-year career reflects outstanding expertise in Technology Policy,  Infrastructure Finance, Public Sector Policy Reform, Investment and Trade Promotion, Financial Technology and Environmental Regulation, greatly places her as a trailblazer with the capacity to steer NIPOST on the path of operational excellence and technological advancement in accordance with the goals set out by Dr. Bosun Tijani, the Minister for Communications, Innovation and Digital Economy.

With a solid background in Electrical and Systems Engineering, Ms. Odeyemi’s role as a Public Policy Professional has consistently demonstrated not just her expertise in deploying technology to meet regulatory requirements and policy but also her capacity to create forward-thinking technology policies.

The mastery with which she has supervised technical teams, ensuring the execution of core objectives and her extensive policy implementation advisory expertise, particularly in the strategic implementation of frameworks for Public Sector, Technology projects, and Infrastructure financing, shows that the future of NIPOST is bright and robust under her esteemed leadership.

On this note, Alpha-Geek Technologies extends heartfelt congratulations to Ms. Tola Odeyemi on this remarkable achievement.

“We anticipate a transformative journey for NIPOST and are excited to witness the innovative strides it will undoubtedly take under her leadership. Together, let’s embrace this new chapter where technology, policy, and effective governance converge to create an impactful future for Nigeria.”, Oluwaseun Dania, CEO, Alpha-Geek Technologies.
