Tech experts, corporate executives, marketers, startups and media practitioners are gearing up for the 2017 edition of the Nigerian International Technology Exhibition and Conference, (NITEC), tagged NITEC 2017, slated for Tuesday, July 4, 2017, at Sheraton Hotel Lagos.
The organizers of the conference have rolled out plans for the 2017 edition themed: ‘The Future of Big Data, Analytics and Applications for SMEs Development’.
Dipo Faulkner, the Country Manager of IBM, is expected to present a paper on “The interplay of Cloud, Big Data and Analytics for economic transformation”, while Pius Okigbo Jnr, CEO of InfoSoft Nigeria, will also be presenting a paper on “How government policies drive adoption of new technologies” at the NITEC 2017.

In line with its slogan: “Trending Technologies”, #NITEC2017 promises to deepen tech discourse this year. Number of participants is also expected to increase from 500 to over 1000.
The conference will come up between8.00am to 5.00pm.
“The Role of Disruptive Technologies in Catapulting the African Continent’s GDP” was the theme of last year’s edition.
NITEC is a conference that brings together various players in the Nigerian tech ecosystem to discuss issues and develop ways to improve the sector.
