Africa’s digital ecosystem will receive yet another boost, as technology experts and decision makers around the globe converge in Cape Town, South Africa from 15th November to the 17th November 2016, to discuss Africa’s digital transformation.

AfricaCom 2016 – Telecoms, Tech & ICT conference is the largest and most influential Africa-focused technology event in the world, the meeting place for those driving Africa’s digital transformation. The tech forum which will last for three days features thought-provoking content, unique networking experiences, and the gathering of senior decision-makers from the entire African digital ecosystem under one roof.

The tech event which has been themed “Economic Development and Social Empowerment through Digital Connectivity” ( business and technology incubator for the architects of Africa’s digital future) will have 10,000 attendees, 350 speakers, 375 exhibitors from 50 African countries.

Amongst other topics to be discussed at the forum include; Equipping, the next generation of business and technology leaders, to shape Africa’s digital future; Career Tips for Future Leaders and the Super-Ambitious – Is There a Secret Formula for Success?; Building the Foundations of a C-Level Skill Set in an Age of Digital Transformation; Community Empowerment: Expert Tips on Developing a Robust Professional Network To Support Your Objectives; Social Media: A Powerful Tool For The Future Leaders Of Digital Africa; Presentation: The Power To Make A Difference: Unleashing The Transformational Potential Of Tech In Africa.

Key speakers at the event will include: Bunmi Banjo, Head of SMB Marketing & Digital Education, Sub-Saharan Africa at Google; Artur Mendes, COO at Angola Cables S; Rasheed Sha, Chief Strategy Officer at Dark Fibre Africa; Michuki Mwangi, Senior Development Manager for Africa at Internet Society; Mich Atagana, Head of Communications & Public Affairs at Google South Africa; Jean-Claude Geha, President and Head of Region Sub-Saharan Africa at Ericsson; Frank Ogochukwu, Chief Technology Strategist at Murtala Muhammed Airport Lagos.
