Lenovo taking Motorola was not a grievous thing at all. Lenovo has combined its cutting edge technology and reputation for quality devices to come up with stunning budget smartphones. The Lenovo s860 phone is a dual-SIM phone by Lenovo that has been in the Nigerian Market since early this year and has proven to be an inspiring device in terms of functionality, performance and pricing.

Design

lenovo_s860The Lenovo S860 comes with an incredible new design. Lenovo totally did a fantastic job on this phone. The form of the phone is attractive and stylish. It has all the elegance of a smartphone and additionally it feels robust on the hand when held.

The s860 has a classy unibody design that features a sophisticated metallic finish on the back. This gives the phone a first-class look and design. For people with tiny hands, however, the phone may feel rather too bulky. This, coupled with its rectangular shape, makes it rather difficult to operate using one hand. That notwithstanding, the phone is beautiful and even ladies find it quite sexy.

Screen

Lenovo s860 has an invigorating 5.3inch screen. The phone’s IPS screen comes with HD resolution. It is, thus, satisfactory in terms of sharpness and clarity.

The screen, however, has its own share of flaws. For example, with this phone, ONES optimum viewing angles are reduced and there is color distortion when viewing the screen from some angles. It also lacks scratch resistance and, thus, the user is expected to either handle it with care or alternatively invest in a screen guard.

Performance

The Lenovo S860 has a quad-core processor running on 2GB of RAM. This, however, does not perform to the expectation of most users. It has been alleged that this phone is unbelievably slow in carrying out most tasks including switching between apps and fast typing. Most consumers have, thus, complained on the performance of this phone.

Camera

Most people who have used Lenovo s860 collectively agree that the phone can take exceedingly sharp photos. Video capture on the phone is equally impressive with a microphone that does not pick up excessive ambient noise. On the negatives, the S860′s camera takes too long to focus, thus, if photos are taken too fast they are likely to be blurred.

Storage

The s860 comes with 16GB of pre-loaded internal memory. This gives users adequate room for media, apps and games. It is quite unfortunate its memory cannot be extended through memory a microSD card.

Battery

Lenovo S860 has a long-lasting 4000mAh battery that can play videos continuously for 16 hours!

Verdict

He final verdict is that this is a convenient budget smartphone.
