It is no news that many startups and salary earners have abandoned some lofty dreams out of frustrations bordering on financing and overheads.

Many promising careers could not amount to much because of this same reason which accounts for over 45% of the Nigerian youth populace.

Financial Institutions have come up with plans targeted at making lives better in recent times but some of these loans come with requirements that most loan applicants may not be able to present.

Hope came through Remita which allows for quick loan access at the dial of a simple code.

This has been the story of many Nigerians as they can now access loans and get credit alerts within seconds.

Organisations can now prepare employee payrolls using Remita Payroll & HR, which serves a dual purpose of helping companies with remittances of all statutory payments like taxes and pension contributions.

As a trusted name in the financial world, over two million salaries are processed with Remita every month.

The expansion that follows the quality deliveries from SystemSpecs, has earned credibility and partnerships with the top bank and non-bank lenders across the Nigerian financial space while delivering fast and seamless money lending processes.

SystemSpecs prides itself On Remita Data Referencing through which partner lenders have been able to increase their loan portfolios and now lend safely to employees of large organisations and SMEs that deploy the Remita platform for payroll processing and salary payments.

David Okeme, Divisional Head, Payment Applications and Vertical Markets at SystemSpecs, explains that the company has conceived a standardised integration to the Remita Data Referencing service using an Application Payment Interface (API).

“With our APIs, as a lender, you have details such as customer’s net salary, payment history, employment history and confirmation of the prospective borrower’s loan profile.”

Speaking further, he made it clear, that Remita Data Referencing service guarantees loan repayment for lenders.

“Upon notification of a loan disbursement, Remita would be able to deduct the value from the client’s next pay. Loan repayment is assured as long as the client is under a paid salary,”.

According to him, SystemSpecs has collaborated with top lenders including Access Bank, Carbon, Pettycash, Coolbucks, Ibile MFB, Arvo Finance, and Credit Wallet to deliver data referencing service to customers.

Other lenders currently utilizing the Remita Data Reference Service are PettyCash Nigeria, PayDayhub Online Nigeria, Free Cash Solution, CIT MFB, Devonsley, Happy Partners, and Bridge Credit.

Motion Yield and Consumer Microfinance Bank complete the list.

The service is a deliberate and planned offering tailored to meet with employees’ credit needs and also serve as a go-in-between the employee and the employer.

“We protect customer data and only data of consenting customers are shared at any point in time,” Okeme said.
