Life is indeed a paradox!

Some of our community members are extremely happy that we opted to use a tool like Rafflecopter for our Giveaways, while some are not so pleased with the move. For a few others, they preferred that we continue to use Facebook, where copycats were having a good time to the detriment of serious minded community members.

Numbers don’t lie! Using a tool like Rafflecopter is actually the best decision we have made with our Giveaways, because increasingly, we are seeing that those who got rewarded deserved it to a large extent.

Moving forward, we have received a number of complaints from various readers on the fact that they are not able to enter for our Giveaway via  the Rafflecopter widget.

We find it puzzling because, so far, we have not experienced any of such issues. Maybe it stems from the fact that most of the smartphones available at our disposal are frequently updated and they are not in anyway starved of data.

Here are screenshots of some of the phones and browsers that we checked:

1. Tecno Phantom 5 – our favourite phone of 2015

Native Browser Tecno Phantom 5

Browser used: Native Android Browser

2. LG Nexus 5

4. Microsoft Lumia 535

5. Blackberry Classic

As you can see, it works pretty well on a wide range of smartphones and browsers. Our suspicion is that, the issues being experienced by certain users might be as a result of a combination of some factors, such as outdated operating systems, non-compatible browsers or generally unsupported phones.

There is no other suggestion that is more apt for those having issues, than this one put forward by one of our important community members, Emmanuel Dominic;
