Genesys Tech Hub and CFAtech.ng have announced the names of judges for the much anticipated inaugural edition of GenesysIGNITE which holds on the 15th December, 2017.

The judges will converge this Saturday, 9th December, 2017 in Enugu to select the best innovative ventures out of the several recorded entries from entrepreneurs.

Tenece Group will support the selected top three innovative ventures with a seed fund of USD10, 000.00 (ten thousand US Dollars) each.

The judges for the GenesysIGNITE are Obi Asika, Chairman of Dragon Africa; Uche Aniche, Founder of Startup South; Mohammed Ibrahim, Founder of Startup Arewa; Ommo Clark, CEO of iBez Solutions; Kolapo Ogungbile, Manager at Heartland Incubation Hub (Oluaka); Kayode Oyewole, Manager at Ventures Platform; and Chukwuemeka Fred Agbata Jnr., Presenter, Tech Trends on Channels TV.

Speaking ahead of the selection process, Founder and CEO of GenesysTechHub, Kingsley Eze expressed optimism and confidence in the credibility of the judges.

“We believe that the expertise and integrity of the judges would boost the credibility of the selection process as wells,” Eze said. Adding that the presence of the judgew would also inspire the participating startups and Southeast tech community. ”

GenesysIGNITE is an annual Southeast Startup Convergence that seeks to congregate young entrepreneurs/startups from all parts of the southeast and south-south region.

In his view, Chukwuemeka Fred Agbata Jnr., Presenter, Tech Trends on Channels TV said the main objective is to discuss latest technology trends as it affects the region and to proffer professional insights particularly for the participating startups.

The event will have in attendance many entrepreneurs having attracted the attention of many relevant industry players.

He added that GenesysIGNITE – Season1 would attract key players in the technology space (including; the OEMs – Google, HP, Dell/EMC, Microsoft & IBM), the International Community – the German Consulate, delegates of New Economy & Startups, German Industry and Commerce and other Government Functionaries.

“We have also secured the presence of the Office of the Vice President – responsible for Innovation & Entrepreneurship and the Federal Minister of Science & Technology.”
