Simplex, an industrial solutions company specializing in CNC machine manufacturing, has secured a $13 million investment as part of Saudi Arabia’s efforts to strengthen and localize advanced industries. With this funding, the company plans to build a large-scale CNC factory in Riyadh.

Founded in 2013, Simplex has established itself as a key player in the manufacturing sector, serving major clients across Egypt and the Middle East.

The company is focused on delivering advanced technological solutions tailored to various industrial needs in regional and global markets.

Simplex recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Saudi Arabia’s National Industrial Development Center to establish its first factory in the Kingdom.

The new facility will be built on a 20,000-square-meter site in Riyadh, aiming to expand the company’s market presence and manufacturing capacity.

According to Mohamed Mansour, Co-Founder and Chief Commercial Officer at Simplex, this expansion is a strategic step toward increasing the company’s global market share.

The goal is to develop advanced products that cater to multiple industries while strengthening Saudi Arabia’s position as a hub for industrial production and exports.

The project aligns with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 initiative, which seeks to diversify the economy and develop high-tech industries.

Beyond manufacturing, Simplex aims to contribute to industrial growth by creating job opportunities and supporting the Kingdom’s non-oil exports.

Chairman Eng. Ahmed Shaaban stated that while the final production capacity has yet to be determined, the company plans to begin operations in the first quarter of 2026.

He emphasized that this investment underscores Simplex’s commitment to enhancing Saudi Arabia’s industrial sector and contributing to its broader economic objectives.

By establishing a manufacturing presence in Saudi Arabia, Simplex is set to strengthen its capabilities, support local industry, and expand its footprint in the international market.
