Anthropic Nears $1 Trillion Valuation After Massive Series H Raise

Anthropic has secured $3.5 billion in a Series E funding round, bringing its post-money valuation to $61.5 billion.

The round was led by Lightspeed Venture Partners, with additional support from Bessemer Venture Partners, Cisco Investments, D1 Capital Partners, Fidelity Management & Research Company, General Catalyst, Jane Street, Menlo Ventures, Salesforce Ventures, and other investors.

With this investment, Anthropic aims to advance its AI systems, expand computational resources, strengthen research in interpretability and alignment, and accelerate international expansion.

This announcement follows the release of Claude 3.7 Sonnet and Claude Code, reinforcing Anthropic’s progress in AI development.

Claude 3.7 Sonnet has set new benchmarks in coding capabilities, an area where the company plans further improvements.

With this momentum, Anthropic is focused on building AI systems that enhance collaboration, assisting teams with complex projects, cross-disciplinary analysis, and organizational efficiency.

Businesses across multiple industries—including startups like Cursor and Codeium and major enterprises like Zoom, Snowflake, and Pfizer—are integrating Claude into their operations.

Replit has incorporated Claude into its “Agent” feature, driving significant revenue growth. Thomson Reuters’ CoCounsel platform utilizes Claude to assist tax professionals.

At the same time, Novo Nordisk has leveraged the AI to streamline clinical study report writing, reducing the process from 12 weeks to just 10 minutes.

Claude is now powering Alexa+, bringing advanced AI capabilities to millions of households and Prime members.

Anthropic remains committed to refining its AI models and ensuring these technologies contribute to meaningful advancements in human progress.
