The April 2017 edition of the CFA’s Startup Hangout will feature Helen Anatogu, CEO, iDea Nigeria and Yele Okeremi, CEO, Precise Financial Systems, as Speakers.

The theme for the April 2017 edition is “Building Confidence” and the two invited Speakers will clearly pass the knowledge to attendees, just as other Speakers had done during the past events.

The monthly meetup, which has featured 3 sessions in the last 3 consecutive months will experience a remarkable modification this month.

The CFA’s Startups Hangout for April 2017, will feature a pitch session, where 5 Startups will pitch their ideas to the audience.

The beauty of this is that, the startup that emerges the winner gets an automatic spot to feature on Tech Trends, a technology show on Channels TV. This opportunity, in the long run, will expose the Startup to prospective investors, especially, if there is so much potentials in the idea.

Evidently, the CFA team has been resilient in making sure that the program keeps running, at the same time witnessing expansion, despite been a self-funded initiative.

The primary goal is to provide an avenue for young entrepreneurs to learn, network and grow from the experience of successful entrepreneurs and the CFA team is poised to continually make this happen.

Startups that are interested in pitching their ideas can register using this link, however, this is after they must have registered for the hangout

As a fact, many young entrepreneurs possess similar qualities and share the same vision when starting or building their businesses. In some cases, they are passionate and focused in taking risks but, many of them lack confidence in seeing their ideas come to fruition. Having confidence is an important quality in building a successful business.

In the real sense, Startups are most likely to meet different groups of people to discuss business ideas or business plans and this requires having some level of confidence. The entrepreneurial journey is not for the timid; you have to be confident.

One of the Speakers to feature on the April 2017 edition, Helen Anatogu, is an attorney with extensive international experience in the energy and technology sectors and there is a lot to gain from her wealth of experience.

On the other hand, Yele Okeremi, the CEO of Precise Financial Systems, started his company with $80 but is now a multi-million dollar company, with clients all over 30 countries.

Finally, the CFA’s Startups Hangout will hold on the April 14, 2017, at Adna Hotel Limited, 28, Ladipo Bateye Street, GRA, Ikeja by 5:00 pm.
