Do you know that you can, successfully, block out spam text messages and notifications that you do not want, on your iPhone?

It can be very annoying, when you keep getting different types of spam messages and notifications, on a daily basis, with you, subscribe to none of them.

The good news, however, is that iPhone user, do not need to worry about this issue anymore.

With a secret feature that is, already, available on the iOS, you can make it all go away.

Yes, you truly can.

Below are the steps to follow, to get this done on your iPhone:

Step 1: Open Settings of your iPhone and scroll down, until you find, “Messages”. You should Tap it.

Step 2: Next, scroll way down and you will find, “Filter Unknown Messages.”

Here is where the magic lies.

Turn it on, by clicking it.

You will scroll down, past almost, three pages, to find this, but do not be in a hurry.

Slowly, scroll down, until you find it.

Step 3: The next step is, to go into your message’s app. There, you will see some tabs, at the top of the screen.

On the left is, the “Contacts & SMS”, which will contain messages, from known contacts in your address book and on the right, will be the new, “Unknown Senders” tab.

Immediately you click on the “Filter Unknown Messages”, the system, automatically, cuts off messages, from any sender that is, not on your address book, neither will you get any notification, to this effect.

The message will just drop, into the “Unknown Senders tab.”

Here is, however, the flip side. Once the “Filter Unknown Senders tab” has been enabled, it becomes very important, to add all legitimate senders, to your address book.

Any message from a number, not in your contacts, will fall into the “Unknown Senders tab.”

If you are expecting a text message, from someone you know, be sure to, correctly, input the person’s number, into your address book.

If this is not done, you will miss the message, entirely, when it comes in and you might have to start checking the “Unknown Senders Tab”, before you can access it.

I hope this helps.
