Build Quality and Display:

In terms of design, Hot 3 is quite similar to Hot 2 with the body made out of plastic. The phone’s back features a fine diamond texture for better handling and grip and offers a great balance between looks and functionality. Infinix Hot 3 comes with a 5.5 inch HD display, featuring full lamination GFF tech for 1.2mm high-precision processing. This technology prevents glare for incredible clarity and produces sharp vivid display. The touch screen is also very responsive and accurate, making the whole experience a delight. The phone is available in different attractive colors to cater for the need of different customers. Available colors include Gold, White, Blue and Pink.

Camera:

Equipped with a relatively better 8MP camera with LED flash, Infinix Hot 3 is able to take crispier and detailed images compared to Infinix Hot 2. The camera also features autofocus, gesture recognition, smile detection, timed photos and a lot of other useful features. The 2MP front facing camera with soft flash is sufficient for video chats and taking casual selfies in a variety of lighting conditions.

Internal Storage:

Infinix Hot 3 is equipped with 16GB of internal storage, which is expandable up to 32GB via the microSD card slot. Users should have no problem in storing their favorite movies, games and other files as the external memory allows cheap expandability.

Processor and Operating System:

Infinix Hot 3 comes with Android Lollipop 5.1 out of the box, featuring XUI on top of it. XUI features a lot of useful options for the users to make their experience more user-friendly and efficient. The phone is powered by a quad-core Mediatek MT6580 processor and 1 or 2 GB RAM. The performance is enough for most daily tasks and games, but the phone may start to slow down if a lot of apps are kept running in the background.

Battery:

Infinix Hot 3 features a 3000mAh battery and the company claims that the phone is able to offer, (separately), 9 hours of web-browsing, 33 hours of music and 20 hours of talk time on a single charge. In other words, under real work average use, the phone should be able to deliver around 1.5 days of battery timing.

Other Features and Conclusion:

Infinix Hot 3 supports dual sim functionality on both SIM slots and comes with a dual-mic to minimize the background noise resulting in excellent call quality. The phone also features its 2ng gen music amplifier for superior audio quality.

Overall, the Infinix Hot 3 is an excellent package at a very affordable price for users who want a balanced phone without breaking their wallets. The sharp and crisp display is perfect for watching movies, surfing the internet and playing games, while the battery allows more time for the user to get things done. Some may argue, that the build quality still leaves us wanting more, but the phone still delivers good value for money.
