One irony of life is that good things, in some cases, also have bad sides depending on the individual or people involved, their motives and of course, the circumstances. We are often inundated with all the good things that we can achieve with technology, but technology, like every other thing in life, also has its bad side. One of the bad sides of technology that we need to guard against is tech addiction, which is not only a big issue, but can also be a threat to life.

This and many other examples like another person falling off a bridge under similar circumstances are more than enough reasons to start raising awareness on tech addiction with a view to nipping it in the bud, especially among our youths.

A lot of other examples of tech addition abound. With technology, for instance, entertainment, especially, online and on TV, is now two for a penny. Many people are hooked on watching entertainment to the detriment of work which leads to low productivity. This is the exact opposite of what technology is supposed to — Finish Reading on the Punch Website
