saltDNA, one of the world’s safest executive messenger has launched a new technology that is dedicated to reform the communication protection standards in global enterprises.
In a statement issued by the Network security specialist’s saltDNA, the new technology is the first program which integrates encrypted communications with EMM and VPN technology and has been designed objectively to ensure supreme privacy.
Founded in 2013, saltDNA was primarily designed to address a variety of business needs and challenges, and enable a number of different deployment scenarios.
Currently, clients can influence the robust saltDNA Cloud Service to take full management of communications set up across the globe in a couple of seconds or set up a virtual instance within an internal network setup.
This new mobile encryption technology which has been designed by a specialized team of network and security specialists, consists of three innovative products: saltEMM, saltIM and saltVPN. saltIM completely encodes messages and calls from the device; saltEMM is responsible for unifying the supervision of devices through a central secure management portal; while saltVPN safeguards data across any network.
Commenting on the system, Joe Boyle, COO and Co-founder of saltDNA, noted that the company wanted to develop a software only solution, to solve the security challenges of a wide spread global workforce, adding that saltDNA can be used to manage all devices across the globe, to protect mobile networks and secure conversations.
“Ultimately our goal is to give people the ability to work in any environment with complete confidence,” he added.
At present, saltDNA has moved a step ahead of other security solutions by developing a software only solution that offers premium scalability, coupled with swift, simple and remote deployment.
The influence of saltDNA is the versatility in how the product suit can be set up, as every single product can be deployed independently, however, the strength in the system comes as customers can modify the modular solution to their desires.
Still on the product development, Boyle noted: “BYOD is a mega trend which is not going away. Workers now want to use the device of their choice, however, employee owned devices can severely limit the level of policy control IT administrators have. Going for a software only solution tackles both of these issues head on. saltIM allow users to take control of their privacy, ensuring voice and messages are completely protected, while EMM gives policy control back to IT administrators.”
This year, saltDNA has seen Atlas Ventures become its major sponsor following the million dollar investment from Atlas Ventures.
Besides, saltDNA is currently distributing its operations in US East Coast and already in the process of relocating its headquarters to Boston. saltDNA is yet to start extending its operations to Cambridge in the course of 2015. We await the time these services wil be available in Africa.
