The Global Startup Ecosystem is set to host this year’s virtual Ghana Tech Summit. The event runs annually and it will be going on its third straight time.
The event is aimed at investors, creatives, entrepreneurs, and digital marketers to proffer solutions to challenges facing the world via entrepreneurship and technology.
The Tech Summit will put up over 5000 attendees with more than 100 speakers across the globe to push Africa’s narrative in the innovative ecosystem among the continents.
The event will take place virtually on Thursday, December 10, 2020. The Ghana Tech Summit is a part of the Global Startup Ecosystem 12-year initiative and it is West Africa’s largest tech summit.
Annually, the Global Startup Ecosystem drives over 1000 startups across up to 190 countries and it remains the world’s largest digital accelerator.
The Ghana Tech Summit is set out to empower the country’s entrepreneurial economy.
The event also aims to restructure such that it will get recognised as the world’s case study in promoting innovative solutions from emerging markets.
Launched in 2018, the summit started with 1000 attendees and 100 speakers.
The first summit saw the attendance of tech giants like Twitter, Google, Microsoft and Facebook in attendance.
In 2019, the Summit saw more than 2 000 attendees. International and local investors, entrepreneurs, investors and marketers with interest in changing the world via technology and entrepreneurship.
