User-friendly business technology is gradually becoming a trend among many corporations and organizations in the world. This is due to the fact that most people and employees prefer tools that are easy to use in completing various tasks. Most of these apps are simple, faster and more efficient than some of the tools that are provided by the company’s IT department.

An employee may, for instance, prefer to use Whatsapp to communicate than to use email. Companies are encouraged to accept and even adopt some of their employee’s favorite technology. Doing this may be overly beneficial to business by enhancing overall productivity and output.

Here is what happens when a company adopts some of its employees favourite technology:

Better performance by employees

Armed with the tools that they can work best with, employees are capable of accomplishing much more than they can with the company’s stipulated tools. They are able to work faster, thus, improve the overall turn-around time for most tasks. With a quick turn-around time, employees will be able to accomplish more within work hours.

This in turn means better output for the company in terms of productivity. Due to achieving better productivity as a result of adopting these tools, the business will also earn better returns on its investments.

Easy Solutions

Using their own tools, employees will be able to work out solutions easily and quickly. The solutions can additionally be spread across teams, thus, increase the cohesion and collaboration among members of staff of the company. Communication becomes easier, thus, solutions are worked out faster and efficiently.

It saves costs

The company that allows its employees to embrace these user-friendly tools may in the end be saving costs that may be used in training employees on how to use the the company;s erstwhile preferred tools. This is because the employees are already familiar with the usage of the tools. Additionally, the deployment of these tools is often not complex, thus, little capital will be spent incorporating them into business.

Benefits the IT department

Since employees already have a grasp on how to use the user-friendly tools, the IT department will have little to deal with in terms of system malfunctions and breakdown resulting from improper usage by employees. Additionally, when the IT department comes up with solutions, updates or suggestions on the tools, other company employees will be able to implement them better. This will lead to enhanced synergy within the organization.

Happiness will fuel prosperity in the business

When working with tools that they love, employees are likely to derive more satisfaction from their jobs. This will also reduce cases of work-related stress. A firm will, thus, have a team of happy, cooperative and efficient workers that will drive increased productivity for its business.
