Zoom has announced its plans to temporarily lift its 40-minute meeting limit it placed on calls during the Thanksgiving holiday celebrations in the US on Thursday, November 26, 2020, for all global meetings starting from midnight of the 26 of November till Friday, November 27, 2020.
This is coming from the backdrop of the company’s announcement in giving opportunities to families to spend more time together in the course of the gathering as the celebrations will be both virtual and physical.
With the time limit of 40 minutes being a key restriction for basic plan users, this new announcement will bring in some holiday cheers to users as families around the world can connect with each other on the unlimited virtual chat platform.
