Annually, the WISE Awards rewards and promote six innovative projects that solves educational challenges across the globe.
WISE has received over 3,000 applications from over 150 countries since 2009. Today, at least 78 projects from a wide variety of sectors and innovation locations have been awarded.
WISE is committed to building a community of educational innovators that offers a suitable environment for groundbreaking collaborations.
WISE supports winning projects through different the following channels:
Prize Money: Winning project will receive US$20,000.
WISE Communications: Projects here are dsiplayed on the website for the WISE community broad view.
Multimedia productions: Winning projects get video production of their work
WISE Books: Finalists and winning projects will get to get feature in WISE Books. The books showcases the current solutions to the challenges of education in the 21st-century.
Representatives from Award winning projects get the opportunity to present their work at sessions during the global biennial summit in Doha, WISE regional summits, or Qatar.
In partnerhsip with WISE, projects are also given an opportunity to take part in global events
Support to other WISE programs: Former reps of winning projects are occasionally involved in other WISE projects, either through mentorship, fellowship program, and anticipation in selection process.
Six innovative projects will be celebrated and promoted in this new cycle of 2022 WISE Awards.
They will be identified by their contribution to education and society as well as their creative and effective solutions to education challenges at any level in all environments.
WISE is helping to inspire transformation and innovation in education by building a network of recognized change-makers
Representatives of projects are required to submit applications to show the nature and reach of their activities. Nominations of projects are also welcome.
Access to quality education, early childhood education, life-long learning opportunities employment, education in emergency contexts and civic education are all part of the concern precious projects have addressed
