Startup Business Advisory Support(StartupBAS) in association with Absa is a national initiative designed by Yison Tech Hub and Ghana Tech Lab to support startups and SMEs in Ghana with free business development support services.
It is a national program supporting startups in Ghana with business development support services necessary for scaling their businesses.
StartupBAS provides free consultation for all startups across the country through our thirteen (13) partner hubs.
According to its website, to date, the program has supported 34 startups, 27 male-led businesses, 7 female-led businesses, 15 industries and 36 hours of impact duration.
The initiative which provides free, structured coaching for startups is implemented nationally by Ghana Tech Lab through its Partner Hubs (also known as business centers under the initiative).
Startups across the country will be able to book for consultations through the StartupBAS website. Based on the startup’s regional location, the corresponding business centre is scheduled to provide requisite consultancy services.
The first cohort of the StartupBAS saw 41 startups receive consultancy services from the business development team at Ghana Tech Lab, Accra.
These consultations were delivered virtually between the months of June & July in 2020. Although the majority of the 41 Startups were in Accra, consultation services were also offered to startups in other regions
