Due to the low penetration of broadband connectivity in Africa, especially, in Sub-Saharan Africa, getting a reliable and fast internet service is, a little bit difficult to come by.

However, with the latest technological invention, from one of the biggest tech giants in the world, this problem might just have got solved.

The new Wi-Fi 6 router connectivity, Honor Router 3/Huawei WiFi AX3 is, set to be the game-changer, when it comes to boosting the internet connectivity.

The Wi-Fi 6 got released in 2019 and it replaced the 802.11ac, popularly known as Wireless-AC.

We can, also, say that the Wi-Fi 6 is an upgrade to the Wireless-AC, as it promises lower latency, greater range and very faster speeds.

The new Honor Router 3, also, known as the WiFi AX3, has a simplistic look, but with enough power-packed within that delivers an incredibly fast Wi-Fi 6 speeds, of up to 2976 Mbps, (2.4 GHz: 574 Mbps; 5 GHz: 2402 Mbps).

This enables users, to transfer data to up to 20 devices simultaneously and the beautiful thing is that, it comes cheap.

Not every device will, however, be able to connect to this device, especially, older smartphone devices.

The Honor Router 3 has the capacity to accommodate a maximum of 128 devices, across both bands and its separate antennae, (which are 4 in total), will greatly improve wide coverage, especially, across several thick walls.

The component of the router includes a dual-core Gigahome CPU that has the capacity to run at 1.2GHz; it is paired with 128MB RAM and 128MB storage.

A closer look at its connectivity options, shows a one, (1), WAN port and three, (3), LAN ones, all of which carries a Gigabit capacity.

For now, Honor is selling the Router 3, a Wi-Fi 6 router, for as little as $47.99, which is about ₦18,594.21, (in Nigeria currency).

This is considered cheap, relative to what it offers.
