Nigeria has to become a thinking Nation, if we must survive the coming, disruptive revolution which is upon the world. This is one reason, I believe that Think Breakfast Series (tBs) is indeed a welcome development not just for the ICT industry but the Nation at large.

Without mincing words, the Nigerian economy is clearly in shambles and solutions geared towards recovery should come from diverse sources. So, when you have top notch experienced experts and industry decision makers gather together for a brainstorming session, you are sure of getting good practical solutions, spiced up with laid out action plans.

A lot has been said about the sharing economy, knowledge-based economy and tBs is a practical example of what these concepts are all about. Historically, the idea of industrial revolution that took place in Europe was muted in a gathering of some individuals at a small coffee shop. They brainstormed and implemented their ideas, all that materialised big time by the end of the 20th century. Amazingly, there were no disruptive technology drivers that period, as we know it today.

That said, we believe the ideas that will be generated during tBs is no doubt capable of proffering solution that can help resuscitate Nigeria’s battered economy. This initiative therefore, is geared towards bringing industry experts together to brainstorm and discuss the biggest trends and topics that are impacting the industries in Nigeria.

Why “Think Breakfast Series (tBs)” is Different?

If you are top executive and you want to join others such as Engr. Ernest Ndukwe, Chairman, Open Media Group; Tunde Coker, MD, Rack Centre; Yele Okeremi, MD, Precise Financial Systems, James Agada, CEO, Computer Warehouse Group; Mazi Sam Ohuabunwa, Founder/Chairman, SOFEE, Chris Uwaje, Director General, Delta State Innovation Hub; Ikechukwu Nnamani, Medallion; Sunday Folayan, President, Nigeria Internet Registration Association (NiRA), Mohammed Rudman, Managing Director, Internet Exchange Point of Nigeria (IXPN) and many others too numerous to mention, then contact the team http://tbs.com.ng/contact

Leading excellent brands that have thrown their weight behind tBs is Rack Centre, Africa’s leading multi-award winning tier III data centre, which has shown total commitment to providing top quality collocation services in a secure environment. The Managing Director of Rack Centre, Tunde Coker will be on ground to share his perspectives on the essentials of a knowledge driven economy while ensuring that progress is made in a sustainable manner.

Objectives in Brief

  • A session for top executives to brainstorm
  • A platform to address the issues confronting our country.
  • Designed to deepen conversations in the ICT space.
  • In addition, tBs will create an opportunity for you to rob minds with industry leaders and generate more ideas that can shape your organisation.

The series has been lauded by experts across various industries and it is brought to you by Nigeria CommunicationsWeek and CFAtech.ng. tBs holds on the 22nd of February, 2017 at the Prime Chinese Restaurant, Victoria Island.

Frankly, we believe that the 30 passionate executives, decision makers and thought leaders who are billed to attend have the capacity to proffer solutions to issues affecting the industry and Nigeria at large.

Personally, I am excited about this crucial gathering that will add immense value. Forums like tBs are important to sustain the level of technology development in Nigeria.
