WETECH an Innovation Hub has partnered with the initiative #eSkills4Girls and BMW to organize a free web development training for young girls, aged 8 to 18 years old. These are short introductory code training courses to understand the basics of web development.
The hub is a Cameroon-based innovation centre that champions women’s participation in entrepreneurship and technology.
WETECH is dedicated to supporting African women in the fields of entrepreneurship and Technology.
The program is targeted at girls aged 8 to 18, in Francophone Africa.
There would be:
- Face-to-face training for participants residing in Douala
- Online training for girls outside Douala, Bafoussam and/or Cameroon
Training centres
- Douala (Cameroon): Orange Digital Center, located in Orange Sudanese, Akwa.
- Bafoussam (Cameroon): Place de festivals in Bafoussam, after Hôtel Belle Epoque, Building No23
- Online (Francophone Africa): On Zoom
