The customer goes to Mumm’s website and locates the closest Mumm kitchen and places their order.
The chef in the selected area receives the order and cooks the food. The food is delivered within ninety minutes if it’s a single meal.
Delivery can however take longer if an order is for either frozen food or a Bulk order. Delivery in these cases is done in twenty-four hours.
This foodtech doesn’t get directly involved in food, instead they provide software for restaurants that enables them to receive orders straight from their social media platforms or website.
Elegate works to help restaurants take their business to potential customers where they spend their time.
So orders can be gotten on WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, and Website.
Elegate also provides an order management system for businesses that signed up with them. Elegate was founded in 2018 and is located in Cairo, Egypt.
Founded in 2019, also located in Egypt. Tekeya provides an online platform where restaurants, hotels, or grocery stores can donate their surplus to charity.
Also, fresh foodstuffs are sold on Tekeya and it’s delivered to the doorstep of the buyer.
This foodtech was founded in 2011 and it is located in Cairo, Egypt. Elmenus is a food discovery online platform.
Customers browse through various foods offered by various restaurants, based on their mood, cuisine, location, and dish name.
Then, the customer can either order or go to the location having made reservations.
Users can leave reviews about restaurants on their website. The restaurants can also place advertisements on elmenus and pay commissions on any order they get through the platform.
