As at today, there has been a massive surge, in the number of apps downloaded, from the popular Google play, Microsoft stores, as well as other stores, for apps download, as being at home, has forced many people to download video call Apps.
Topping the list of some of the most downloaded and used video calling apps is, Zoom, Google Meet, House Party, WhatsApp, etc.
Recently, some video calling apps had increased group call numbers and the most recent of the lot is WhatsApp, which increased its group call limit, from 4 to 8 people.
This competition had, also, forced Microsoft to announce that it will soon increase its group call participants to 250.
As of now, the platform group call limit is 100 participants, but Microsoft has released a statement that, it will soon increase the number to 250, a few days from now, but the offer will only be available, to paid subscribers.
Users on the free version only, have access to group call participants, of no fewer than 20 people.
The Microsoft team have, also, upgraded the platform and offered subscribers lots of benefits that include:
• Benefits of scheduled meetings.
• Meeting recordings.
• Phone calls.
• Audio conferencing.
• 1TB of storage, per user, for paid subscribers.
• Users on free plans, get 1GB of storage per users and 10GB of shared storage.
Users will, also, enjoy a new option, which entails viewing of shared content, immediately you join a meeting, through a phone call.
