jijing smartphone tablets

Just a few years ago we used cell phones only, then we switched our cells to smartphones. Later the iPad was launched, which was the beginning of the rise of tablets. Now we face a difficult choice: what is better – a smartphone or a tablet? Check jiji.ng/mobile-phones-tablets for a wide selection of gadgets for anyone within any budget. When you purchase one of the devices there are always a lot of factors to pay attention to: it’s size, display, weight, battery, functionality and how practical they can be in different situations of life. In any case, there are always pros and cons. We have put up a list of 5 most interesting criteria to consider when choosing a gadget.

1. Display Size

Display size is one of the main differences between these devices. Most people choose a device based on the display size and its practical functionality. If you consider playing games, reading books, watching movies, a tablet is a perfect option. It is very comfortable to play on and easy to manage. The big screen will allow you to enjoy the best experience. Basically, tablets are like a mini computer. They are able to perform most tasks that computer is capable to perform.

2. Dimensions

Advantage that smartphones have over tablets is their portability. Smartphones usually have a screen measuring between 3.5 – 4.3 inches, and tablets’ screen measuring between 7 – 10.5 inches. The smartphone is compact and easily fits in a pocket or in a lady’s clutch. They are easier to hold and operate with one hand, while it might be inconvenient to do with a tablet.

3. Camera and practicality

Most smartphones come with more advanced cameras. Usually, a person has his/her smartphone within a hand’s reach, so any moment of life can be captured.
Tablets do not fit for this purpose at all. Because of their size, they are hard to put in a pocket or get out fast, if necessary. Therefore, the quality of the cameras is just average. The cameras are mostly used for video calling.

4. Repairs

The cost of tablets, on average, is lower in comparison to smartphones. But the repair costs of these devices are much expensive.

5. Price

The last but not the least, tablets are less expensive than smartphones that are packed with almost identical features. If you compare flagship smartphones of most brands, they will be more expensive than tablets.

The difference between tablets and smartphones is getting less and less recognizable with every year. The only difference now is that one device has better apps, better cameras, better battery life, and a greater web browsing experience. The choice is up to you.
