SweepSouth, an online platform established in 2014, offers home cleaning services on demand in a number of South African towns.
The firm is actively expanding across the remainder of the continent after securing considerable funding, particularly from Naspers.
In order to grow into the North African nation, the company bought the Egyptian startup FilKhedma, a home services marketplace with operations in three cities, in December.
Now, under the direction of its new country manager Awazi Angbalaga, it has entered Nigeria. She claimed that for the previous two months, SweepSouth had been testing its service in Nigeria and that the response had been encouraging.

“Even though we’ve mostly been testing out our service here, we’ve already had our first 300 bookings, and the response we’ve gotten confirms our suspicion that Nigerians find our offer to be intriguing.
“Even though we have more appointments every week, our priority is still giving our clients the finest service possible,” according to Angbalaga.
