Practically, it is sometimes quite uncomfortable for some kids and elderly citizens to use phablets based on the fact that their hands are somewhat small and weaker to hold these devices during use. This may result in accidents where the phablet’s screen cracks, etc. The use of Phablets is now on the increase the world over, with great features such as improved system performance, good camera quality, enhanced display and much more.
With every smartphone manufacturer trying to include these features in a normal size smartphone (convenient for kids and the old), South-Korean multinational conglomerate company, Samsung, has presented the Samsung Galaxy Ace 4 Lite G313H – cheaper and housing most of the features found in phablets.
At first glance, it looks like the Galaxy S5 and it is also hard to spot much difference with Galaxy S5 mini in design. It is smaller in size (meaning the screen is smaller too), lightweight and compact enough for convenience.
Features of Samsung Galaxy Ace 4 Lite G313H
The body of the phone is 62.74mm wide, 121.16mm high and 9.91 in depth, making it 8% thinner than most smartphones in the 3.6 – 4.0-inch screen range and weighs 115 grams. The front of this device has a camera, home button, speaker grill, level sensors and the 4.0-inch display. Although the 4.0” display takes up a better part of the front space, other features are well spaced and positioned in a strategic manner to ensure all activities are performed independently, devoid of any feature obstructing the other.
The rear of this device has a loudspeaker positioned adjacent to the 3-megapixel camera with LED flash and the back cover has a textured strip to improve grip, making it feel convenient. For connectivity, Samsung has maintained its best by locating the headphone jack and the charging port Micro-USB at the top. Besides, the volume rocker and the power button are located on the left and right side respectively.
Once you open the rear of the phone, you will notice a GSM SIM card slot, a 1900mAh battery and a microSD card slot. Overall, the complete phone is made out of strong plastics – taking notice that Samsung uses the best strong plastics.
Display and Performance
The Samsung Galaxy Ace 4 Lite G313H does not use the AMOLED technology that Samsung screens are known for, but instead uses a standard LCD panel that translates into 187 pixel per inch from the available 480 × 800 pixel resolution and a display sharpness that can be rated as average when compared higher-resolution screens which gives a more pleasant experience when it comes to playing games, watching videos, reading text, and viewing pictures.
Samsung Ace 4 runs on 1.2GHz dual core processor combined with a 0.5GB RAM. What is more, it is powered by Android 4.4, which is coupled with Samsung’s TouchWiz User interface, making it a phone worth having for those who need a small device with great performance with its 4G that supports 3G and GSM bands, Wi-Fi, NFC, and Bluetooth.
Early VERDICT.
This phone is severely underpowered by its display which needs some improvement, but with 4G connectivity, good camera, and latest version of Android, Samsung has shown she is capable of keeping pace with this era, where technology is rapidly filtering-down from flagship phones to customer-friendly price range.
