Commenting on Fawry FMCG’s participation in the exhibition, Eng. Ashraf Sabry, CEO of Fawry Group, said:

“Fawry FMCG always ensures that it doesn’t miss an opportunity to be present in such exhibitions. Events like this help enhance digital transformation opportunities and develop cashless payment methods for companies.

Operating in the food industry which Fawry is currently a market leader since 2015, our participation in Food Africa 2021 is an opportunity to connect with our current and potential partners, offering our various services to publish digital payment solutions.

Some of these solutions include services that will increase the efficiency of their own distribution system which in turn helps in increasing the sales.”

Hossam Ezz, CEO of Fawry FMCG, said: “We are pleased with our participation in this edition of Food Africa 2021, where we will announce the launch of multiple new services in the Egyptian market, including the ‘Mandoobi’ application in cooperation with BI Technologies.

This new application will mechanize the operations of demand between merchants and fastmoving consumer goods companies, as it allows the merchant to order products in the required quantities and determine the appropriate delivery date.”

He added that the second service that will be launched by FMCG during the exhibition activities is the ‘digital lending’ service to finance purchases from FMCG companies.

This service will allow merchants to increase working capital and provide alternatives to cash payment with different financial products in line with the merchant’s needs of products.

It will also review numerous digital payment methods and their integration with sales automation and management systems, enabling companies to raise the efficiency of the sales, collection, and financing systems.

Fawry FMCG is the first and largest electronic financial platform in Egypt serving consumers and businesses through various channels and thousands of service points across Egypt.

The Fawry FMCG platform currently serves around 250,000 merchants and more than 100 FMCG partner.

It operates with the aim of digitizing the supply and demand processes and creating an ecosystem where the relationship between the retailer, the salesperson and the FMCG company is seamless, all-digital and cashless.
