Nigerians, were today, Wednesday, July 17, 2019, once again, assured that, it is not all gloom and doom for us, at the business Interactive session held by the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry, LCCI, in conjunction with Nigeria LNG Limited, NLNG, as another son of the country, showcased the feet he had been able to achieve in far away Netherlands. It event was held at the premises 89f the Lagos Chamber of Commerce & Industry.
Dr. Peter Ngene, a lecturer at Utrecht University, has come up with an innovation he came up with, in storing energy in batteries in solid form, to last longer and also, used in powering electrical appliances.
Dr. Peter Ngene, was the winner of the Nigerian Prize for Science, 2018 and the main purpose for the event was for him to present his energy solution and to bring him in contact with the business community, who will partner with him, to commercialise his solution. The prize was presented by the NLNG
Apart from officials of the LCCI and NLNG and the business community present at the occasion, Prof. Barth Nnaji, former Nigerian Minister for Power, also graced the occasion.
