The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), has extended the deadline for the 5G spectrum submission by 5 days.
The extension was necessitated by the challenges faced by air travel in recent times and its possible impact on potential bidders with respect to the bid submission.
According to a statement signed by the Director of Public Affairs at NCC, Dr. Ikechukwu Adinde, the response submission with respect to the 3.5 Gigahertz Spectrum Band auction comes with a deadline by Wednedsday, November 24, 2021.
“However, due to the challenges posed to air travels as witnessed recently and considering that it may have some impact on intending bidders regarding the submission of their bids, the Commission hereby extends the deadline for submission of bids and Initial Bid Deposits (IBDs) to 5.00 pm on Monday, 29th November 2021″, the statement reads.
“All other events as scheduled in the Information Memorandum remain unchanged,” the statement concludes.
