Meet the Speakers for Cyberchain 2021

Cyberchain a people-focused cybersecurity and blockchain conference is hosting its event, set to take place on the 19th – 20th November 2021 at Oriental Hotel Victoria Island, Lagos.

The hybrid event will see the gathering of cybersecurity and blockchain experts, advocates enthusiasts, users discuss the technology.

Cyberchain 2021 aims to connect and scale participants such that they experience the power of physical engagements with permissionless connections while building powerful business networks, doing smart pitches, signing deals, and getting instant gigs.

The hybrid event will see keynote speakers and others discuss thoroughly on cybersecurity and blockchain.

Prof. Umar Garba Danbatta

Danbatta is the Executive Vice Chairman (EVC)) of the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC). Presently serving in his second term, the EVC has strengthened the role of Nigeria’s telecommunications sector as a major contributor to ITS Gross Domestic Product (GDP) growth, while boosting telecoms investment inflows.

Before his appointment to lead NCC in 2015, Danbatta, who is a professor of telecommunications engineering, had worked in academia as a lecturer where he supervised many projects in diverse areas of telecommunications, rising to the position of Acting Vice-Chancellor in a Nigerian university.

Danbatta’s other areas of his expertise are Strategies for ensuring Universal Access and Service to Telecommunications Services; Strategies towards Effective Spectrum Management in a Developing Economy; Issues on Institutional and Legal Framework for Effective Regulation of Telecommunications Services; and, New and Emerging Technologies and Impact on Regulation of the Telecommunications Sector of a Developing Economy, among others.

Engr. Kashifu Inuwa

Kashifu is the DG/CEO of the Nigeria Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA).

He is an MIT-trained strategist with over 15years of experience in business transformation, solution architecture and IT operations across both private and public sectors. He is also known as the Chief Information Technology Officer of Nigeria.

Kashifu was responsible for the Galaxy Backbone Point of Presence Design and Implementation and Galaxy Unified Communications Infrastructure Integration and Expansion.

He managed the execution of strategies that increased ICT contribution to Nigerian GDP by 9.7% in Q2 2018.

He coordinated Local Content initiatives that have increased ICT local production by 230% in 2017

While at Central Bank, he created the Technology Architecture Repository that gave a 360 view of the Bank’s IT infrastructure and eased decision-making on new IT investment.

Kashifu is a Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert – CCIE, the most prestigious network certification in the world.

Dr. Obadare Peter Adewale

Obadare is the Co-Founder, Digital Encode Limited. He is an official member of the Forbes Technology Council, a first-generation and visionary entrepreneur.

He is a Fellow Chartered Information Technology Professional, the First EC-Council Licensed Penetration Tester in Africa, Second COBIT 5 Assessor in Africa and PCI DSS QSA.

He is a technical partner with the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) and Program Director for both Centre for Information Security Intelligence and Hacker Counter Intelligence.

His area of specialties includes Vulnerability Mgmt., Penetration Testing, Computer Forensics, Risk Mgmt., QMS, ISMS, SMS, BCMS, IMS, TOGAF 9, COBIT 5, PCI DSS, PA DSS.

Jude Ozinegbe

Jude is the convener of the Cyberchain event, Nigeria’s most engaging and people-focused cybersecurity and blockchain conference. He is a multidimensional tech integrator with a high flair for digital transformations.

Jude is a human capital developer, a strategist across various verticals including tech, healthcare, real estate, hospitality, supply chain, manufacturing, e-commerce, and education.

He is a seasoned ICT Consultant haven worked with various companies both in the public and private sectors. Jude is also an advocate for cybersecurity and blockchain advocate.
