WhatsApp Dark mode to reduce lessen eye fatigue
Facebook mobile chat platform, WhatsApp has finally rolled out its Dark mode for iPhone and Android users.
This is coming after almost a year of testing its availability in beta.
Rather than just offering its normal white and black colour scheme, WhatsApp has designed a dark grey background with elements having an off-white colour to reduce glare, while improving readability and contrast.
Android 10 and iOS 13 users will now be able to have the experience of what the dark mode is when they enable the mode through the settings on the app.
Old Android and iOS version users would have to enable the mode going through the WhatsApp app theme.

The dark mode use colours that come close to the system default on the mobile devices rather than displaying white and pure black colour tone.
The Facebook-owned platform hàs been working on this dark mode for some time now.
The mode feature has been in the reports since March 2019 even before the iOS 13 that introduced the dark mode to iPhone and iPod officially debuted.
In anticipation of this mode, WhatsApp has updated profile photos on all its social platforms.
WhatsApp aims to support its users to have their attention focused on each screen when using the dark mode on WhatsApp.
For easy use, the WhatsApp team has created a video on how the dark mode can be used.
However, the new dark mode won’t be available to iPhone users on iOS version before iOS 13
WhatsApp is however not the first app to introduce this mode. Apps such as Twitter and Facebook have had a similar experience.
The new dark mode would also enhance users to the usage of the app in dim light
