Huawei Nigeria in partnership with Fortis Project Limited have unveiled an Information and Communication Technology (ICT) project at Eti-Osa East local council development area of Lagos State.
Speaking at the launch, Fancy Feng Hongjuan, Public Relations Manager at Huawei Technologies Nigeria Limited said in her speech that apart from the contribution to the ICT field Huawei does think about giving back to the society.
She also talked about the different ICT training and how Huawei is gradually getting involved in skill training which was their purpose of setting up the Eti-Osa training skill center.
Tunde Ayeni, Sole Administrator for Eti-Osa East LCDA, emphasised the occasions as one that will speed up the development and anticipations of the youth in Eti-Osa East local council development area.

Ayeni further stated that after the completion of the project there would reduce the gaps that have been created by unemployment and lack of jobs in the locality.
He appreciated Fortis Project Limited and Huawei Technologies for deeming fit to sponsor the construction of this epoch-making skill acquisition center.
Dotun Adebayo, Director of Fortis Project Limited, explained the initiative behind the ICT center which will serve the needs of the Eti-Osa people by providing them with a 21st-century learning environment that will propel them to excel in their respective and chosen field of skill.
He further thanked the management and Staff of Huawei for making this happen through their CSR platform.
In closing the ground-breaking ceremony, Hon. Gbolahan Lawal, the commissioner of Housing in Lagos State, stated his interest in the skill acquisition project which will enlighten and enable the Nigerian youths in the ICT Sector.
He further commended the sponsor of this project Huawei Technologies Nigeria Limited and the Consultants of the project Fortis Limited for their effort to develop the Nigerian youths.
The ceremony had in attendance Gbolahan Lawal, Commissioner for Housing in Lagos State; Tunde Ayeni, Sole Administrator for Eti-Osa East LCDA; Dotun Adebayo, Director of Fortis Project Limited; Fancy Feng Hongjuan, Public Relations Manager, Huawei Technologies Nigeria Limited; Mr Leo Li Feng Deputy Managing Director, Enterprise Business Huawei Technologies Nigeria Limited.
Other officials in attendance were the PDP Chairman Alhaji Ariwaja, The APC Chairman in Eti-Osa East Alhaji Apapa; Baale of Ogo-Oyo and the Directors of Friends of The Environment, and Mrs. Kunbi Adesokan.
