Global Air Drone Academy has called for application for its 2021 Nigerian Drone Business Competition. The competition aims to nurture the entrepreneurial abilities among Nigeria-based early-stage tech-savvy startups.
With the support of the U.S. Consulate General, Lagos, the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), and the Global Air Drone Academy have partnered to organize a 5-day virtual drone business boot camp for young entrepreneurs in Nigeria.
In the course of this 5 day Bootcamp, 30 qualified participants will be having the opportunity to get professional training from drone experts from Global Air Drone Academy, an FAA endorsed drone service company headquartered in the USA.
At the end of the exercise, 30 finalists will be selected to virtually attend the boot camp. Each finalist will receive training on drone engineering and entrepreneurship and will have the opportunity to pitch their drone business idea to a panel of judges.
The top three finalists will a professional grade drone and business coaching to help launch their businesses.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be between 16 and 30 years old
- Must live in Nigeria
- If selected as a finalist, must be able to participate in a 5-DAY Virtual Training (2Hrs per Day)
- If selected as a winner, must be willing to participate in GADA’s business accelerator program
