Founder Institute Lagos is proud to announce its upcoming public event: Founder Wellness: Managing Mental Health While Growing Your Startup, coming up on Thursday, June 9, 2022, at 6:00 PM.

A 2015 UCSF study shows that 72% of entrepreneurs report mental health concerns, and founders are 30% more likely to experience depression than non-founders. In some of the most extreme examples, founders have lost their lives to suicide and substance abuse, but many more live with depression and other disorders in silence.

A founder’s mental health is important because it controls the inner narrative and determines how much one is in alignment with one’s creativity, productivity, and ingenuity.

Proactive care of your mental well-being will preserve your talents as a creator and innovator, and help you optimize your performance as a leader.
