Infusing technology into the agricultural sector has led to a massive disruption and the last few years have seen the rise of agritech startups leveraging technology to solve the biggest challenges in the agricultural sector.
FI Lagos in collaboration with AFEX – an organization that provides innovative solutions for the agricultural sector in Nigeria – will be hosting a live interactive session on how to launch an agritech startup in Lagos.
The aim of this event is to open up a robust conversation about the agritech space, spotlighting the potential hidden opportunities in the challenges across the entire value chain from production to exportation.
The online interactive session with the theme “Maximizing the Intersection of Technology and Agriculture for A Dynamic Agritech Ecosystem”, will also explore how leveraging technology can make all the difference beyond the often unsustainable crowdfunding platforms that the agrictech space is synonymous with within the Nigerian Ecosystem.
Expected participants at the session include potential, new and early-stage startups founders who are interested in joining the program as well as corporate executives who are looking to transition in the agritech space.
Following this event, it is hopeful that more founders would be encouraged to launch startups that will explore the opportunities presented by the challenges that exist within the agribusiness space and also provide insights for existing players in the agritech vertical to optimize operational efficiency.
Register here to attend this event if you are interested in identifying opportunities and launching a startup in the agritech space.
