Female-led Business? Apply for ShEquity Accelerator Program ($50-$250K)

Application has opened for the fourth edition of ShEquity Business Accelerator (SHEBA). The 17-week accelerator program is powered by ShEquity Partners, an investment firm focused on African women.

ShEquity offers smart investments for innovative and impactful woman-led businesses in Sub-Saharan Africa

The program runs in partnership with MBC Africa to address the current gender funding gap by making women-led businesses investment ready while equipping them with the skills, technical and venture-building support required to scale their ventures.

Since its inception, the program has executed three cohorts of 30 participants each across 10 countries in the ECOWAS region.

Participants in the accelerator program are open to obtaining funding from ShEquity and other related investors.

Following the program, top-performing ventures are recommended for investment which can range between  US$50,000 and US$250,000, plus additional support for post-investment opportunities.

How to apply

Women-led businesses based in the ECOWAS region can apply here. This portal is open to applicants from the Anglophone region. Another link for Francophone applicants will be announced shortly.
